About the Noosa Queen

Cruising the Noosa River Since 1970

The Noosa Queen is one of the longest-operating cruise boats on the Noosa River. She has been running daily Noosa River Cruises since 1970 and continues to provide unforgettable experiences for locals and visitors alike.

The Queen is a multi-decked motor vessel, perfect for exploring the serene waters of the Noosa River. The Saloon deck exudes the charm of an old-time pub, featuring a comfortable lounge area and bar stool seating along her starboard side. Here, passengers can enjoy a meal or a drink from the bar while watching the tranquil river glide by at water level. For those who prefer the outdoors, the forward, aft, and upper decks offer open-air spaces and large covered viewing areas, perfect for taking in the stunning scenery and wildlife.

Operating exclusively in smooth water, the Noosa Queen is a purpose-built riverboat designed to provide exceptional stability, ensuring the utmost comfort for passengers.

Meet Captain Dan

Captain Dan brings a wealth of experience and passion to the helm of the Noosa Queen. A lifelong waterman, Dan grew up surfing and became a commercial fisherman at the young age of 16. Originally from Augusta, Western Australia, he moved to the Sunshine Coast with his family in 2019.

When he's not guiding guests along the Noosa River, Dan enjoys surfing the local points or fishing with his daughters. His love for the natural environment and the water shines through in every cruise, creating a welcoming and memorable experience for all onboard.
